Winter Creatures and their Features
To celebrate Winter’s Tail, we are running an exclusive workshop in which pupils will have the chance to learn about some of the animals at Chessington World of Adventures who are uniquely adapted to life in the cold, wintery climate. Using hands-on activities and props, we will take a close look at cold and snowy habitats around the world and talk about animals such as reindeer, and the adaptations they have to help them survive in these climates. Students will also learn about behavioural adaptations, like hibernation and migration, and why they can be useful in the winter.
Workshops are available as an optional purchase of £50 per class. There is no minimum student requirement per workshop, but a maximum of 35 students is allowed. Please see free teacher ratios below. Multiple workshops can be accommodated for larger groups.
