Please note that the facilities are available for hotel guests only at the moment. Guests must arrive 'beach ready' (swimwear under clothing).
Members, Chessington Annual Passholders and Merlin Passholders are currently unable to book.
Capacity is limited to 20 guests per 1hr session with a maximum of 10 guests in the pool at any one time.
We encourage guests to bring and use their own towels to save the environment but towels can also be hired from the Leisure Club Reception for £2 each, a percentage of which is donated to the Chessington Conservation Fund.

We run Aqua Fitness classes twice a week:

Koi Swim Club

Chessington & Merlin Passholders
- Annual Pass Holders are able to enjoy our Swimming Facilities for an additional cost of £5 each on their visit to resort.
- Annual Pass Holders can book their swimming session on the day from 8am by calling the Leisure Club on 01372 734681.
- All Annual Pass Holders are required to show their Merlin or Chessington Annual Passes to gain access to our swimming facilities. All guests must have an Annual Pass to gain access (over the age of 3). If you are unable to show an Annual Pass at time of entry, entry will be refused.

If you are staying at the Resort Hotel on a package booked through the Merlin Holiday Club, you receive complimentary access to the Savannah Splash Pool & Gym.
Access for Overnight Guests
- Depending on your room or package type, you could be entitled to complementary access to the Savannah Splash Pool & Gym. Some room types will incur a small charge per person to use these facilities.
- You will need to pre-book a time slot to use the pool facilities. Once you receive your room booking reservation number, please call the leisure club to make your booking, swimming is subject to availability.
- For guests staying in our Hotels, you are able to book a swimming slot from 2pm on the day of check in until 12pm on the day of checkout. Guests staying in our Glamping site, you are able to book a swimming slot from 12pm – 4pm on the day of check in and 12pm-4pm on day of check out.
- Any booking made outside of these times may be subject to cancellation.
- Due to limited capacity, we operate timed swim sessions of 60 minutes and one session per night's stay. If capacity allows an additional swim session per nights stay, this will be chargeable for all guests. Time slots will be issued on a first come first served basis, and your 60 minutes will include your time to access the changing facilities. If you arrive after your designated start time, you will be able to enjoy the facilities until your session ends.
- When using the pool, those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+
- All guests must follow our Savannah Splash Pool & Gym rules and pool supervision requirements which are available from our team at the Leisure Club, or you may be asked to leave.

Safari Resort Hotel
Guests staying in Standard Rooms or Wanyama Reserve View Rooms in the Safari Hotel will be charged to use the Savannah Splash Pool. Access to the pool is charged at £3 per person and guests wishing to use the pool must pre-book a time slot by calling the leisure club prior to their stay. Please note that access to the pool is subject to availability.
Guests staying in the African Adventure, Giraffe, Tiger, Zebra, Madagascar, Room on the Broom and Gruffalo themed rooms will receive complimentary access to the pool but must pre-book by calling the leisure club prior to their stay. Access is subject to availability and issued on a first come first serve basis.
Towels are available to hire for £2 per towel in the leisure club.
Azteca Resort Hotel
Guests staying in Discovery Rooms in the Azteca Hotel will be charged to use the Savannah Splash Pool. Access to the pool is charged at £3 per person and guests wishing to use the pool must pre-book a time slot by calling the leisure club prior to their stay. Please note that access to the pool is subject to availability.
Guests staying in the Monkey Temple themed rooms will receive complimentary access to the pool but must pre-book their time slot by calling the leisure club prior to their stay. Access is subject to availability and issued on a first come first serve basis.
Towels are available to hire for £2 per towel in the leisure club.
Glamping
Explorer Glamping guests can access the Leisure Club at the Chessington Resort Hotels from 12pm- 4pm on day of check in and the day of check out.
For guests staying in Standard Tents. access to the pool is charged at £3 per person and guests wishing to use the pool must pre-book a time slot prior to their stay by calling the leisure club. Guests staying in the Explorer Glamping Premium Tents will receive complimentary access to the pool but must pre-book their time slot by calling the leisure club prior to their stay. Access is subject to availability and issued on a first come first serve basis.
Towels are available to hire for £2 per towel in the leisure club.
Please note that guests will need to drive or walk around the outside of the Resort on Leatherhead road from the Glamping site should you wish to use the Chessington Resort Hotel facilities.
