SOCIAL MEDIA COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE DATED FROM TIME OF FIRST POSTING

COMPETITION TERMS

These terms and conditions of participation of the competition (the “Competition”) as well as the collection and use of the data provided and collected by persons participating in the Competition (“Participants”). By participating in the Competition, Participants accept these Competition terms including the terms data protection (“Competition Terms”).

Competition organizer and term

This Competition is organized by Chessington World of Adventures Resort ("Competition Organizer").

The Competition period will be from Monday April 8th until April 22nd, 2024 at 23:59 (“Competition Period”).

How to participate

The Competition will be hosted on the Instagram pages of “Chessington World of Adventures Resort” and Capri Sun. In order to participate in the Competition, Participants need to comment on the Instagram post related to the Competition.
The winner will be randomly drawn by Competition Organizer among all Participants. There will be only one winner.
Participation is free of charge and free of any purchase obligation.
The winner will be informed via Instagram. In order to secure their Prize, the winner must promptly confirm acceptance of the Prize. Failure to promptly confirm the Prize will forfeit the Participants claim and allow the Competition Organizer to assign the Prize to another winner.

Prize

The winner of the Competition will win the following Prize (the “Prize”):
- An overnight stay for four people (2 adults and 2 children of 15 years and below) in the Capri Sun room in the Chessington Safari Hotel; and
- Four tickets to Chessington World of Adventures Resort; and
- A Capri Sun gift set consisting of Capri Sun branded merchandising and Capri Sun beverages.
All four tickets and the overnight stay have to be redeemed on the same day. The Prize can only be used at the Chessington World of Adventures Resort and not at any neighbouring attractions.
The Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any special promotions, discount tokens, coupons or cards. The Prize cannot be refunded or exchanged. It is non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternative will be offered. The full or partial sale of the Prize is prohibited.
The Prize does not include costs for drinks, meals, transportation, travelling expenses, excursions, treatments, phone calls, personal expenses and insurance. It excludes any other products of Capri Sun or Chessington World of Adventures Resort.
Competition Organizer may, at its sole discretion, substitute the Prize for another Prize of equal or greater value.

Participation Requirements

The Competition is open to persons aged 18 and over who have their permanent residence in England, Scotland, and Wales. Participation is possible during the Competition Period. Only Participants who have correctly commented on the relevant Instagram post will qualify for the draw.
Employees of the following companies and their immediate families, and anyone else connected with the creation and administration of the Competition: Merlin Entertainment, Competition Organizer and Capri Sun.
Participation and access to the Chessington World of Adventures Resort is subject to the Chessington World of Adventures Resort’s terms and conditions, which can be found at https://www.chessington.com/legal/terms-conditions .
The winner of the Prize may be required to participate in promotional activity on the social media channels of Capri Sun and/or Chessington World of Adventures Resort.
Competition Organizer reserves the right to disqualify from the Competition any Participants it reasonable believes do not comply with these Competition Terms or who (attempt to) manipulate the entry process.

Redemption of the Prize

The tickets will either be sent to the winner or will be available for pick-up at Chessington World of Adventures Resort. The Capri Sun gift set will be available at the Chessington Safari hotel.
The Prize must be redeemed once during the campaign between 22 March 2024 and 31 October 2024 with the exception of the period between 17 August until 2 September 2024, during which the Prize cannot be redeemed.
The winner of the Prize must bring a valid photo ID to be able to claim the tickets. Photocopies of the tickets will not be accepted.

Short breaks are subject to limited room availability.

Data Protection

The following data will be requested from the winner: name, address, photo and email address. The data provided by the Participant will be used by the Competition Organizer (and/or Capri Sun or its service providers) exclusively to carry out the Competition and in particular to contact the winner.
Participants acknowledge that in the event of a win, the Competition Organizer and Capri Sun may repost images posted by winner of the Prize on its own social media channels and/or website.
Participant can request the deletion of his/her data at any time and winners after the campaign. The data can also be corrected in the same way.

Disclaimer of liability and changes to the Competition Terms

Competition Organizer and Capri Sun will not be liable for damages resulting from impairment of the availability of the Competition website in the event of technical disruptions and force majeure events beyond its control, nor for the availability of the Competition website as such. However, Competition Organizer will make every effort to ensure the reliability and functionality of the Competition website.
Competition Organizer does not guarantee that the Competition website will function properly on the respective Participant's computer and won’t be liable for transmission errors.
Competition Organizer reserves the right to change these Competition Terms or end the Competition at any time and without giving reasons, in particular if this is necessary due to force majeure or external circumstances beyond its control or if this is the only way to ensure proper implementation of the Competition.

Final Provisions

Chessington World of Adventures Resort’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
All questions and comments regarding the Competition should be addressed directly to the Competition Organizer via its website. Legal recourse is excluded.
This Competition is subject to the laws of England and Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the seat of Competition Organizer.

AromaPrime Chessington Tickets

This prize is for four tickets to Chessington World of Adventures Resort to be redeemed once between March 22, 2024, and October 11, 2024.
The competition is hosted on AromaPrime’s Facebook page.
This prize can only be used as stipulated and is non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternative will be offered.
This prize does not include costs for drinks, meals, accommodation, transportation, travelling expenses, excursions, treatments, phone calls, personal expenses, insurance.
Sale of the prize for profit is prohibited.
This prize excludes all other products Chessington World of Adventures Resort offers.
Chessington World of Adventures Resort and AromaPrime reserve the right to substitute the prize for another prize of equal value.
Chessington World of Adventures Resort and AromaPrime reserve the right to disqualify from the competition any entry it reasonable believes does not comply with these terms and conditions.

Chessington World of Adventure Resort’s decision is final - no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner must confirm acceptance of the prize by Friday 9th December, 2022, at 23:59 GMT, or the prize will go to another winner.

The prize:

The prize is for two winners to win a Chessington Goody Bag.
The prize cannot be refunded or exchanged.
The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any special promotions, discount tokens, coupons or cards.
Sale of the prize is prohibited. Chessington World of Adventures Resort reserves the right at all times to refuse to permit any sale of the prize to a third party.
Postage of the prizes will be arranged with Chessington World of Adventures Resort.
