FAQs - BEFORE YOUR STAY
Yes! Both our Resort Hotels and Explorer Glamping are available for booking your short breaks at Britain's Wildest Adventure. Check our some of our offers and packages here.
No, both Merlin and Chessington Annual Passholders staying in our Resort Hotels and Explorer Glamping or with a short break booked at a partner Hotel (a Hotel off site) via Merlin Holiday Club, do not need to pre-book a ticket to gain entry to the Theme Park and Zoo. All you’ll need to do is present your Hotel confirmation as well as your valid Pass for scanning at the turnstiles.
No, guests staying in our Resort Hotels, Explorer Glamping or partner Hotels with a short break (including tickets to the Theme Park & Zoo) booked via Chessington Holidays, do not need to pre-book a ticket to gain entry. If you have booked a bed and breakfast rate, you do need to pre-book tickets to the Theme Park and Zoo.
FAQs - WHEN AT THE RESORT HOTELS
Room keys are available from 3pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am. Make sure to check in online before you arrive. If your Hotel stay was booked through Chessington Holidays, please check in here. If your stay was booked through another platform i.e. Booking.com, we will contact you to check in.
If arriving before 3pm, having already checked in online, head straight on to the Resort to enjoy your wild adventure. Check in is at 3pm, and we'll contact you when your key is ready for collection. If you're still enjoying your day, don't worry you can collect your key when you're ready. If you don't have tickets to the Theme Park for your date of Check In, Check In is at 3pm and we'll contact you when your room is ready.
To access the park for Early Ride Time between 08:45 - 10:00 for Hotel guests is via Azteca Gate. From 10:00 onwards access to the Theme Park for Hotel guests is currently via our Lodge Gate entrance, which is adjacent to the Hotel car park.
Yes, both our Zafari Bar & Grill and Temple Restaurant are open for Hotel guests only. Zafari Bar is only available to guests when dining at our restaurant. Pre-booking is essential and a link to book both breakfast and dinner will be shared in your booking confirmation and via email prior to your stay. The opening times of each restaurant varies throughout the year and will be available at the time of booking. Your dining experience may be altered in line with the latest Government guidance, so please bear with us.
A link to book both breakfast and dinner will be shared in your booking confirmation email and again in a second email prior to your stay. Alternatively, on arrival you can use the phone in your room to book a table, however, availability is limited so we do recommend booking your preferred time early, to avoid disappointment. Pre-booking is essential.
Yes, once you have successfully re-booked your short breaks package to your new date you'll be required to re-book your breakfast and dinner reservations for your new stay date. If your stay was not moved due to Resort closure, we kindly ask that you cancel your original reservation.
We are offering our Zafari Bar & Grill menu for in-room dining, available for collection from the restaurant. Orders can be placed from the comfort of your room via mobile ordering.
We're currently unable to accept charging to Hotel rooms. Please be ready to ‘pay as you go’, plus we’re encouraging everyone to make contactless payments rather than cash where possible.
Yes, you're able to store your luggage at our Concierge Desk in the Safari Hotel. Just speak to a member of the Hotel team who'll be able to assist you.
We've got a great line up of entertainment for Resort Hotel guests that's packed full of ROARsome fun including:

All entertainments offerings are subject calendar and timings which vary per day.
Absolutely, Early Ride Time is available for all guests staying in the Resort Hotels with a main Theme Park Short Break package (between 23rd March – 30th October 2023). You'll have access to the Theme Park and Zoo from 9am, and select rides and attractions from 9.30am- 10am! All rides and attractions are subject to availability and will be confirmed when you visit. Early Ride Time is only applicable for stays in our main Theme Park season as indicated.
Yes, our Savannah Splash Pool is open for Resort Hotel guests. Pre-booking is essential - you can book your one hour slot by calling 01372 734 681 or dialling 4 from your room. Additional costs may apply dependent on room type.

FAQs - SAFETY MEASURES
Rooms are cleaned after every stay, with any points touched during a room inspection after cleaning, disinfected.
Yes, unless told otherwise. Please place the 'do not disturb' sign outside of your door if you do not want housekeeping to enter to clean your room. Consequently, any non-essential maintenance required in Hotel rooms will only be completed after each guest stay.
FAQs - GLAMPING
Your tents will be available from 3pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am. Make sure to check in online before you arrive. If your stay was booked through Chessington Holidays, please check in here.
If arriving before 3pm, having already checked in online, head straight on to the Resort to enjoy your wild adventure. Check in is at 3pm, so once you're ready head over to our Explorer Glamping reception to be shown to your tent. If you don't have tickets to the Theme Park for your date of Check In, we'd advise you arrive 3pm onwards when you're tent will be ready for you.
If entering the park before you've checked-in, head over to our Explorer Entrance where you will have your tickets scanned. If you're accessing the Theme Park after your overnight stay, you'll be able to access via the gates in Wild Asia.
Our Explorer Outpost is open exclusively for Glampers for breakfast and dinner! Your dining experience may be altered slightly in line with the latest Government guidance, so please bare with us. The opening times Explorer Outpost varies throughout the year.
There is no need to book breakfast or dinner at Explorer Outpost in advance of your visit.
To facilitate our new hygeine and safety measures, we're currently unable to accepted charging to tents. Please be ready to ‘pay as you go’, plus we’re encouraging everyone to make contactless payments rather than cash where possible.
Explorer Glamping operates shared washing facilities and we continue operating with additional health and safety measures in place, such as enhanced cleaning.
