In order to manage the number of guests we welcome to the Resort each day, we require all Passholders to pre-book tickets online. Please see below for more information, along with information about how your Pass will be extended.

In order to manage the number of guests we welcome to the Resort each day, to allow for social distancing, Merlin & Chessington Passholders will need to pre-book a ticket online for entry.
This is a temporary measure so that as many people as possible can enjoy an adventure at the Resort, as it will reduce the number of tickets that are taken up by those who then do not attend.
We know many of you buy your Passes so you can spontaneously visit the Resort and therefore we’re closely following Government advice and will update this process when it is suitable to do so.
Please note that if you are staying in one of our resort hotels, you do not need to pre-book for Park entry however you will need to present your Hotel booking confirmation along with your Chessington Annual Pass at the admissions turnstiles.
PASS EXTENSIONS & REFUNDS
To account for the time we have been temporarily closed, as well as to acknowledge the requirement to pre-book as we reopen, we will be adding a 5 month extension to all original expiry dates for Chessington Annual Passes that expire between 18th March 2020 – 31st May 2021.
We understand that many of you purchase a Pass to enjoy the full offering of the Resort, therefore, if your Pass extension falls during the winter period when the full Theme Park is not open, we will further extend it for you.
Chessington Annual Passes that expired on or before 18th March 2020, will not be entitled to the extension period.
Pass extensions will happen automatically and you don’t have to do anything.
If you have purchased a new or renewed Chessington Annual Pass, which you have not yet collected, we have extended the 8 week collection time until the end of October 2020, with your Pass valid for a full 12 months from the collection date.
REFUNDS - If you would prefer to receive a prorated refund instead of a Pass extension for the closed months, we would ask you to contact us, so that we can calculate your refund. Your Pass expiry date will then revert to your original expiry date as printed on your Pass. For Merlin Annual Pass refunds, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
No, you will keep your original Pass, our system will update your expiry date so that you will successfully scan in up until the new expiry date. Use the expiry date calculator to work out when your new expiry date is.
All Passholders who have purchased and collected their Chessington Annual Pass before 19th March 2020, will get a 5 month extension (153 days) from the original expiry date. If Pass extension falls during the winter period when our main Theme Park is closed, we will further extend these Passes by up to 3 months (92 days) – based on the number of extension days during November, December and January.
Only under exceptional circumstances and with proof of shielding, will your passes be able to be ‘frozen’ for the duration of your shielding. Contact email@example.com.
NEW OR RENEWED PASSES NOT YET COLLECTED
If you have purchased a new or renewed your Chessington Annual Pass but have not yet collected it, you now have until the end of October 2020 to pick it up and will be valid for a full 12 months from the collection date.
As per standard terms and conditions, our Passes are non-refundable. Passes will be valid for a full 12 months from the collection date which has been extended until the end of October 2020.
You can pick up your Merlin or Chessington Annual Passes from either our Lodge or Explorer entrance between 12pm - 3.30pm. Guests are also able to purchase Merlin & Chessington Annual Passes from here at this time.

Yes, you need to either print your pre-booked ticket and bring it with you on the day of your visit or have the email available on your phone for our admission hosts to check upon arrival. You will also need to ensure that you have a valid Annual Pass with you to gain entry, as you will need to scan this on arrival.
If your voucher has a unique code on it, you'll need to pre-book entry for your family and friends here.
