As we get ready to ‘Wake up the Wild’ ahead of the Park opening for the 2022 season, we thought it’s the perfect time to let you know about our Year of EVENTures…
NEW FOR 2022 – MARDI GRRRA!
Friday 27th May – Sunday June 26th, 2022
Get your beads ready - it’s time to hit the streets and bring on the celebrations with MARDI GRRRA! at Chessington World of Adventures Resort.
The event, which is NEW for 2022, will be set amongst the wilds of the Resort with a whole array of fun for the family whilst giving adventurers a taste of New Orleans.
Across the Theme Park and Zoo, you can meet the fabulous and flamboyant ‘Kreature Krewes’, each representing some of Chessington’s most spectacular animals at the Resort with a spectacle of dance, music and entertainment. Be wild at heart and join your favourite Krewe by dressing up and joining the celebrations!

WILDERFEST
Monday 1st August – Sunday 4th September, 2022
Britain’s wildest music festival, Wilderfest, returns to our line-up of seasonal events this summer. Get the whole family ready to croc n’ roll as the Resort comes alive with roaming entertainment and the buzz of live music. Be front row as some of the hottest musicians in the animal kingdom get the crowds cheering, and don’t forget to enjoy iconic rides such as Tiger Rock to cool off in the summer heat.
Your favourite PURR-formers are still drumming up their plans for 2022, but you can be reassured that we’ll have some ROARsome performances…
HOWL’O’WEEN
Saturday 15th October – Sunday 30th October, 2022
When the sun sets, things are planned to get extra spooky this Halloween… Join us by celebrating the most frightful time of year this October with our haunting and hair-raisingly hilarious Howl’o’ween event! With fang-tastic fun for all the family, this year’s final line up is yet to be fully revealed but expect a whole host of new, scary and seasonal activities across the whole Resort.
WINTER’S TAIL
Selected dates from Saturday 26th November, 2022 – Monday 2nd January, 2023
Finish the year with some festive fun, as Winter’s Tail will be coming back to Chessington World of Adventures Resort this Christmas! With the Father Christmas Grotto, Christmas market stalls, selected Theme Park rides and Zoo offering all included in the ticket price - plus much more - Britain’s Wildest Adventure is ready to entertain the whole family.
