Otters
At Chessington, we have a successful breeding family of otters, with parents Lancelot and Mina taking charge. If you fancy learning more about our loveable otter family, why not come along to our Otter Presentation.
The Lawn in front of Hocus Pocus Hall
Exotic animals including Meerkats, Coati, Binturongs and Macaws will come up close and personal to audiences in the Animal Antics Show at The Lawn.
Sea Lion Bay
At Sea Lion Bay we have 4 Californian Sea Lions splashing about in the water – 2 boys and 2 girls – who would love you to come over and see them.
The Gruffalo Arena
Journey with other Chessington Adventurers at The Gruffalo Arena through the deep dark wood and encounter some familiar creatures along the way through song and dance. Both kids and parents alike can learn the words and moves, before enjoying the animated film. Plus, keep your eyes peeled for an appearance from the Gruffalo himself!
AMAZU in Chessington Zoo
Capybaras are proficient swimmers, swimming with only their nostrils, eyes, and ears above the surface. They are also known to swim underwater - sometimes for considerable distances.

Penguin Bay
Humboldt Penguins are a warm weather species that live off the coasts of Chile & Peru in South America. Come and join our Zoo Keepers for our fun, fact-filled talks.
AMAZU outside the Spider and Squirrel monkey enclosures
If you have cheeky monkeys, bring them along to learn about our monkeys. After the talk, our Keeper will be on hand to answer any questions.
