Your little explorers will love the adventure of sleeping under canvas in the ‘great outdoors’, and the ‘real beds’, theming and furnishings found within the tent provide the perfect comfortable and cosy environment in which to bed down in after a fun filled day in our theme park.

** Glamping Exclusive Fastrack is available to those staying at Chessington Explorer Glamping and allows those people Fastrack entry to all available rides for the first hour of the day (between 10-11am). Wristbands will be issued on arrival at Reception and must be worn to receive this benefit. Rides are subject to availability and guests must enter the Fastrack queue line before 11am; unfortunately, late arrivals will not be given access. Glamping Exclusive Fastrack for the first hour of the day is only available on Saturdays, Sundays and throughout school holidays. Please note access is available to all rides with a Fastrack entrance with the exception of Vampire, Dragon's Fury and The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure, and it is recommended guests visit a combination of rides to make the most of this benefit.
*** Explorer Glamping guests can access the Savannah Splash Pool and Gym at the Chessington Resort Hotels between 12 and 4pm. Please note, guests staying in a Standard Tent will be charged £3 per person. Guests staying in a Premium Tent or staying on one of our exclusive Merlin Holiday Club Packages will receive complimentary access to the Pool. All guests must book their slot - those with complimentary access will be able to book their slot in the week prior to their stay, those in Standard Tents will need to book on the day of arrival. Please note access is subject to availability and issued on a first come first served basis. You will need to get into your vehicle and travel from the Glamping site should you wish to use these facilities.
When can I check in and check out?
The earliest check in time is 3pm, and the latest check out time is 10am.
Please note: You can check in at the Explorer Glamping site any time after 3pm. You are not required to check in on your arrival at the park.
Can I leave my luggage at the Explorer Glamping site?
No, there will be no luggage drop off.
Where can I park?
Please park at the front of the Gorilla Field at Explorer gate. You will need to collect a parking ticket from Base Camp Reception before you leave.

Please be aware cots will not be provided in the Explorer Glamping tents. If guests would like to bring their own cot, they must book a premium tent.
What extras are on offer?
There is an exclusive themed restaurant available to Glamping guests, Explorers’ Outpost. A hot buffet breakfast will be served here every morning, and Glamping guests are able to book the restaurant for their evening meal.
Glamping guests will have exclusive access to Wild Asia once the park closes, this includes two rides.
Hotel facilities including the Savannah Splash Pool, Gym and the Rangers Club evening entertainment will be available to Glamping guests; these are located in the Resort Hotels so guests will need to travel to the hotel to make use of these facilities.
Is there Wifi?
Free Wifi is available throughout the Resort.
What disabled facilities does the Explorer Glamping site offer?
There are two standard tents which will be accessible via a ramp for disabled guests, plus designated disabled parking and a disabled toilet. A wet-room style shower facility is also available in the disabled toilet.

What can I get for breakfast?
A Full English breakfast is included as part of your package. There is also a selection of cereals to choose from, plus some extra breakfast favourites.
Breakfast will be available in the Explorer Outpost restaurant between 8am – 9.30am.
What is the restaurant like?
The Explorer Outpost restaurant is exclusive to guests staying on the Explorer Glamping site. As part of your Explorer Glamping experience, you'll get to have breakfast here between 7.30am to 9.30am, and dinner is served here between 6pm to 8pm.
How will my Explorer Glamping Tent be laid out?
The Explorer Glamping Tents are designed to give you the comfort of a hotel room in the great outdoors.
In the Standard Tent, there's a double bed for adults, and two singles for the children which are in one communal area.
The Premium Tent has a kingsize bed instead of a double, as well as a separate sleeping area for children which has a bunk bed and a single bed, there's also a storage chest and outdoor furniture for your feature front porch.

Will I be able to lock my Explorer Glamping tent?
Yes, the tents zip up and can be secured with a padlock (shackle diameter less the 10mm). Please bring your own padlock should you wish to secure your tent.
How do I get there?
Chessington World of Adventures is situated on the A243, two miles from the A3 and M25 (junction 9 or 10). The Park is well signposted.
If you're arriving by rail, the nearest train station is Chessington South Station, which is approximately a 10 minute walk from the Park.
How do I get around?
The Explorer Glamping site is situated on the Resort near to Wild Asia and behind the Lorikeets so the Theme Park is just a short walk away.
