This is one very angry dragon and you’re in for a roller coaster ride through dizzying twists and turns, dips and dives and all the while your car is spinning and spinning. However many times you ride, it’s always different, depending on who sits where.

FUN FACT: Dragon's Fury also has a sister roller coaster at Alton Towers called Spinball Whizzer.


  • Minimum Height is 1.2m
  • Maximum Height is 1.95m
  • Chest size limit of 51 inches

  • Not suitable for Adventurers with heart conditions, high blood pressure, back problems or neck problems
  • Not suitable for non-ambulant Adventurers
  • Not suitable for Adventurers using a moonboot or those with leg casts
  • Not suitable for Adventurers that suffer from motion sickness
  • Not suitable for expectant mothers
  • Ride is subject to availability

Further to recent updates from the Government on the response to the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak, we have taken the very difficult decision to close Chessington World of Adventures Resort as a precautionary measure.

Have a short break booked before 25th April? We can move your stay date with no extra cost!
For guests with short breaks arriving up to and including 25th April 2020, we have relaxed our usual terms and conditions so you can now reschedule your break to another date in the 2020 season with no additional cost*. Please complete the form here including your booking reference and the preferred date you would like to rearrange your booking to. Our team will get back to you as soon as possible.
*Subject to availability, please provide 3 alternative dates in order of preference, dates allocated on a first come first served basis.

Have a park ticket booked before 25th April? You can use this for another day in 2020!
If you have a park ticket for up to and including 25th April your ticket will be valid for use on any date during the 2020 season up to and including 1st November 2020.
