How to get here

Getting to Chessington World of Adventures Resort is easy.



Chessington is in Surrey, on the A243, just two miles from the A3 and M25 (junction 9 or 10). We are well signposted.

  • From the South, take M25 junction 9
  • From the North, take M25 junction 10
  • From London, take the A3 to Hook - Chessington is signposted on the A243


Lodge Car Park 

The car park is accessible via Lodge Gate off Leatherhead Road.

Parking is £4 per car (including blue badge holders*) and can be pre booked online or during your visit from Lodge Gate.

Car parking  is free for Premium Merlin Passholders and for Off Peak Chessington Annual Passholders on valid entry dates.

Express Parking - Available on selected dates

Express Parking (located at the Lodge Gate Coach entrance) is now available at Chessington and enables you to benefit from easy entry and exit from the Resort. Express Parking also offers you the option to guarantee parking on hard standing. Express parking costs £10 per car and can be pre booked online or paid on the day at the staffed entrance.

Other Information

10% of every car parking fee will be donated to the Chessington Conservation Fund which will help to protect the future of nature and wildlife through conservation work and education at Chessington Zoo, in the local community and worldwide.

Motorhomes, campervans, caravans or any other vehicles of a similar nature are permitted at Chessington World of Adventures Resort. However, parking overnight is not permitted. Please note larger vehicles may not be suitable for Explorer Gate Car Park so please park within the Drop Off Zone or at the Lodge Coach Park.

*Blue Badge holders can park in Lodge Gate Car Park for £4 and hotel guests can park in the hotel car park free of charge and will receive a parking ticket upon check in.

By Rail

Chessington is within 35 minutes of central London and regular South Western Railway services run from Waterloo, Clapham Junction and Wimbledon. Take the train to Chessington South Station. The park is approximately 10 minutes walk from the station.

Chessington South station is located within Zone 6 of the London Travel zones and accepts Oyster cards.

By Bus

Chessington is served by a regular bus service. Take the 465 bus from Kingston to Chessington, or the 467 bus from Epsom to Chessington.
