How to get here

Getting to Chessington World of Adventures Resort is easy.

By Car - use postcode KT9 2NE

Chessington is on the A243, just two miles from the A3 and M25 (junction 9 or 10). We are well signposted.

  • From the South, take M25 junction 9
  • From the North, take M25 junction 10
  • From London, take the A3 to Hook - Chessington is signposted on the A243


Explorer Car Park

The main car park is available at the grass Explorer Gate car park, accessible via Explorer gate off Leatherhead road. Parking is £3.00 per car (including blue badge holders) and can be pre booked online or during your visit from Explorer Gate.
Car parking at Explorer car park is free for Premium Merlin Annual Pass holders.

Lodge Car Park

Lodge Car Park will be available for Annual Pass holders only on selected dates, including:

  • 19th May to 5th September 2016
  • Weekends during September and October 2016
  • During Howl'o'ween (21st October - 31st October 2016)

Car parking is free for Premium Merlin Annual Pass holders.

Express Parking - Available selected dates from 18th March 2016

Express Parking (located at the Explorer Gate entrance) is now available at Chessington and enables you to benefit from easy entry and exit from the Resort. Express Parking also offers you the option to park on hard standing. Express parking costs £10 per car and can be pre booked online or paid on the day at the staffed entrance.

Express parking will be available on selected dates from the 18th March 2016.

10% of every car parking fee will be donated to the Chessington Conservation Fund which will help to protect the future of nature and wildlife through conservation work and education at Chessington Zoo, in the local community and worldwide.

By Rail

Chessington is within 35 minutes of central London and regular South West Train services run from Waterloo, Clapham Junction and Wimbledon. Take the train to Chessington South Station. The park is approximately 10 minutes walk from the station.

Chessington South station is located within Zone 6 of the London Travel zones and accepts Oyster cards.

Chessington is served by a regular bus service. Take the 465 bus from Kingston to Chessington, or the 467 bus from Epsom to Chessington.
