Annual Passes

Terms and conditions, including the refund process

1. Renew your UK Merlin Annual Pass (“Annual Pass”) online on Chessington.com up to 4 weeks after its expiration and we guarantee that the renewal price will be, subject to these terms and conditions, the lowest available.
2. If you find a cheaper price for your renewal Annual Pass (excluding delivery and fulfillment costs) within 30 days of purchase, we will match it and refund the difference. For the avoidance of doubt, this 30 day period commences on the day of purchase of your renewal Annual Pass and not on the day of collection or delivery of it.
3. To qualify, the cheaper Annual Pass must be available to the general public and identical to the renewal Annual Pass purchased from us, including, but not limited to the:
   1. pass options, such as standard or premium;
   2. collection/processing attraction;
   3. fulfillment type, such as post or collection;
   4. pass type, such as individual, family of 3, family of 4, or family of 5, disabled or carer; and
   5. payment method, such as credit card, debit card, cash or cheque.
4. Claims must be made by email to merlin.annualpass@merlinentertainments.biz within 30 days of purchasing your renewal Annual Pass. Your claim must include proof of your purchase, your name, your address, any order reference numbers, full details of when and where you purchased your renewal Annual Pass and any other relevant information that will enable us to verify your claim. You must include full details of when and where you saw the cheaper alternative, such as websites, addresses and/or contact details. Your claim will be unsuccessful if you provide us with inaccurate information or if you fail to provide us with enough information to enable us to verify it.
5. The following are excluded from this renewal price guarantee:
   1. offers conditional on buying other products;
   2. group bookings and/or bulk purchases;
   3. Annual Passes sold at discounted rates for clearance purposes; and
   4. discounted membership schemes, incentive schemes and/or loyalty schemes.
6. This price guarantee applies to passes renewed online at Chessington.com only and therefore excludes passes that are sold privately or through websites including, but not limited to:
   1. auction websites;
   2. trading/exchanging websites; and
   3. social networking websites.
7. We guarantee the best prices on renewed Annual Passes purchased in Pounds Sterling only.
8. This guarantee may be withdrawn or suspended at any time.

CHESSINGTON ANNUAL PASS TERMS & CONDITIONS 2013

By using a Chessington World of Adventures Resort ('Chessington') Annual Pass you accept these Terms and Conditions of use:
AN ANNUAL PASS WILL ONLY BE VALID WHEN USED AND/OR PRESENTED BY THE NAMED HOLDER AND WHEN DISPLAYING A PHOTOGRAPH, WHICH MUST BE A TRUE LIKENESS OF THE HOLDER. MISUSE WILL RESULT IN THE ANNUAL PASS BEING WITHDRAWN.

1. The Chessington Annual Pass is only valid at Chessington World of Adventures Resort.
2. Each Annual Pass holder will be issued with his or her own Annual Pass.
3. Annual Passes are non-transferable and cannot be sold or given away to a third party.
4. A Chessington Family Annual Pass entitles a maximum of 2 individuals (12 years and over) in a family of 3, 4 or 5 Chessington Family Annual Pass. Each family member will be issued his or her own Annual Pass.
5. The Chessington Annual Pass is valid for 12 months from the date of issue (‘the Validity Period’). Opening dates for our 2013 season are: 20th March until 4th November, Zoo Days are at weekends from 9th November until 1st December and Festive Zoo Days are 7th – 9th, 14th – 16th, 19th – 24th and 26th - 31st December 2013. Chessington in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to vary opening dates – to check opening dates please visit Chessington.com before your visit.
6. Chessington reserves the right to close or remove entire facilities within Chessington for any reason, including (but not limited to) special events or private functions, or for technical and/or operational reasons.
7. The Chessington Annual Pass will entitle the holder to unlimited entry to Chessington for the validity period.
8. The Chessington Annual Pass will entitle the holder to 20% discount at restaurants and retail outlets on park. Chessington outlets only. Excludes any of the photography units and paid for games. Excludes cigarettes and cameras. The pass also includes free car parking for 1 (One) car on Park and Zoo open days only
9. Visitors under 12 years of age to Chessington must be accompanied by an individual aged 16 years of age or over.
10. Visitors under 0.9 metres in height may enter Chessington free of charge.
11. Photocopies of Annual Passes will not be accepted.
12. All Chessington Annual Passes remain the property of Chessington and Merlin Entertainments Group and can be withdrawn in the event of fraud or misuse, or can be withdrawn from any person whose conduct is deemed to be inappropriate at the absolute discretion of management. Should your pass be withdrawn then the correct appeal procedure should be adopted should you want the Annual Pass returned. Inappropriate conduct includes, but is not limited to, allowing a third party to attempt to gain access to Chessington with an Annual Pass of which they are not the valid holder. The management of Chessington reserves the right to refuse admission for any reason.
13. Failure to present a valid Chessington Annual Pass will result in a charge of the “on the day” admission rate, which will be non-refundable.
14. Refunds are not available in any circumstances. For the avoidance of doubt, the full value or any part value of the Annual Pass will not be refunded if any or part of Chessington are removed or closed during the year.
15. Chessington Annual Passes cannot be used in conjunction with any promotional offer, voucher or advance booking.
16. Lost Annual Passes should be reported to Chessington immediately.
17. In the event of a lost Annual Pass, Chessington will re-issue a replacement card. Up to two replacement cards can be issued during the Validity Period. New cards will only be issued at Chessington. An administration fee of £10 per Annual Pass will be charged for the re-issue of lost cards.
18. Height, size and ages restrictions apply to certain rides and attractions.
19. By using a Chessington Annual Pass you agree to adhere to park regulations currently in force at Chessington.

Annual Passes purchased online will not be available for collection until 48 hours after the purchase has been made. Alternatively you can purchase your passes on the day of your visit. Prices are subject to change.

CHESSINGTON PUSHCHAIR PASS TERMS & CONDITIONS 2013

By using a Chessington Pushchair Pass you accept these Terms and Conditions of use:

AN ANNUAL PASS WILL ONLY BE VALID WHEN USED AND/OR PRESENTED BY THE NAMED HOLDER AND WHEN DISPLAYING A PHOTOGRAPH, WHICH MUST BE A TRUE LIKENESS OF THE HOLDER. MISUSE WILL RESULT IN THE ANNUAL PASS BEING WITHDRAWN.

1. The Chessington Pushchair Pass is only valid at Chessington World of Adventures Resort.

2. Each Annual Pass holder will be issued with his or her own Annual Pass. Child must be under the age of six and be visiting with an Adult holding their own valid Pushchair Pass. Visitors under 0.9 metres in height may enter Chessington free of charge.

3. Annual Passes are non-transferable and cannot be sold or given away to a third party.

4.The Chessington Pushchair Pass is valid for 12 months from the date of issue ('the Validity Period'). And is limited to off peak times only, for our 2013 season these dates are: 20th – 22nd, 25th - 29th March, 15th – 19th, 22nd – 26th, 29th April – 3rd May, 7th – 10th, 13th – 17th, 20th – 24th May, 3rd – 7th, 10th – 14th, 17th – 21st, 24th – 28th June, 1st – 5th, 8th – 12th, 15th – 19th July, 3rd – 6th, 9th – 13th, 16th – 20th, 23rd – 27th September, 30th September – 4th October, 7th – 11th, 14th – 18th October, 4th, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th, 30th November and 1st December. For our 2014 season these dates are: 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th January, 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th February, 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 24th – 28th, 31st March – 4th April, 22nd – 25th, 28th April – 2nd May, 6th – 9th, 12th – 16th, 19th – 23rd May, 2nd – 6th, 9th – 13th, 16th – 20th, 23rd – 27th 30th June – 4th July, 7th – 11th, 14th – 18th July, 2nd – 5th, 8th – 12th, 15th – 19th, 22nd – 26th, 29th September – 3rd October, 6th – 10th, 13th -17th October.
