Halloween Hocus Pocus 2009: 23rd October – 1st November, 10am - 8pm

The whole family can enjoy spooky entertainment this Halloween as wicked witches and naughty Goblins take over the Park! New for 2009 ‘The Black Forest Haunt’, escape from Transylvania…if you dare!

Plus a mythical Fiery Faun will be weaving enchanting tales of his homeland using magic and fire to delight the younger members of your family.

With rides in the dark and the chance to get up close and personal with the Zoo’s spiders, snakes and glow-in-the-dark scorpions there’s so much fun to be had it’s scary!

Bye Bye Beanoland Custard Pie Fight: 20th September 2009 - 5pm

It will be custard pies at dawn on Sunday 20th September as Chessington World of Adventures celebrates the closure of Beanoland after 10 fabulous years and says goodbye with a giant custard pie fight!

Once we have cleared up all the mess, we will be closing Beanoland for the last time to make way for Chessington's exciting 2010 plans which will be announced in due course.

Limited places available for young adventurers on a first come first served basis on the day. Entry is £1 per participant and all proceeds will be donated to Merlin's Magic Wand charity.

New ATTRACTION - Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinosaurs Adventure: 20th June – 31st August 2009

Step out of this world into the Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinosaurs Adventure in association with Wall's Lemon Age Lolly at Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo this summer.

Discover the mysterious underground world as you journey through the ice cave with your favourite Ice Age herd, Sid, Scrat, Manny and Diego then into the Jungle of Misery to take on Buck's Adventure Trail through Lava Falls and the Chasm of Death!

Go Bananas at Chessington this May Half Term and get in FREE!: 25th - 29th May

Gorilla's can go bananas at Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo as the park supports the 2009 Year of the Gorilla, which is a world wide appeal promoted by WAZA (World Association of Zoo's and Aquaria).

There will be a variety of events going on through May half term, and you can even get free entrance if you turn up dressed as a gorilla*!

*Free entry with gorilla suit is only valid Monday 25 May – Friday 29 May. Offer entitles one individual wearing a full gorilla suit one free entry to the park. Gorilla suits must NOT be worn in Trail of the Kings.

May Day! May Day! Bank holiday madness is taking over Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo

To celebrate the May Bank Holiday weekend, Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo is offering the first 100 visitors with the name "May" free entrance to the park!

So if you are a James May, Mai Smith, Vanessa Mae or simply May - Bring along your photo ID during May Bank Holiday weekend (2 – 4 May) and experience a whole World of Adventures free of charge.

Meet BOB this Easter at Chessington!: 10th - 12th April

Meet BOB in Market Square at 11am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.45pm & 4pm.

This Easter have a monstrous weekend at Chessington with your chance to meet BOB from DreamWorks Animation hit movie Monsters Vs Aliens, at cinemas everywhere from April 3.

When California girl Susan Murphy (Reese Witherspoon) is unexpectedly clobbered by a toxic meteor she mysteriously grows to 49' 11'' tall. Instantly labelled a “monster” named Ginormica, she’s soon captured by the military and held in a secret government compound alongside numerous other monsters.

This ragtag group consists of the brilliant but minsect-headed Dr. Cockroach, PhD (Hugh Laurie); the macho half-ape, half-fish The Missing Link (Will Arnett); the gelatinous and indestructible BOB (Seth Rogen); and the 350ft grub, Insectosaurus. Their confinement is cut short when a mysterious alien robot, controlled by the evil Gallaxhar (Rainn Wilson), lands on Earth and begins destroying pretty much everything.

As a last resort, under the guidance of General W.R. Monger (Kiefer Sutherland), the motley crew of Monsters is called into action to combat the aliens and save the world.
