You can save your adventures for the Park, because getting to Chessington World of Adventures Resort just couldn’t be easier.
By Car
Chessington is situated on the A243, just two miles from the A3 and M25 (junction 9 or 10).
- From the South, take M25 junction 9
- From the North, take M25 junction 10
- From London, take the A3 to Hook - Chessington is sign posted on the A243

Please also be aware that Chessington is within the Low Emission Zone, which affects coaches, minibuses and some other vehicles. Only those vehicles registered before 2002 (vans, minibuses) 2006 (coaches and larger vehicles) are affected as newer vehicles have been manufactured to suit the regulations. The scheme is run by Transport For London (TFL), and full details can be found on their website: www.tfl.gov.uk.
Car Parking

There’s ample car parking available at just £2.00* per car per day including blue badge holders. Voucher/s can be purchased separately or with your ticket/s when you book in advance online or with our contact centre. Alternatively you can buy them at the admissions desk.
Car parking is free for Premium Merlin Annual Pass holders. If you are staying at our Resort Hotel there is a dedicated car park that is free. You will be given a code to exit when you check-out.
Please note: Chessington has two separate entrances Lodge and Explorer, for your convenience please exit the way you entered. The Explorer car park is within a green belt area and drivers should take care whilst using the car park, for more information please visit our FAQ page.
Coach parking is free.
20 pence of every car parking fee will be donated to the Chessington Conservation Fund which will help to protect the future of nature and wildlife through conservation work and education at Chessington Zoo, in the local community and worldwide.
By Rail
Chessington is within 35 minutes of central London and regular South West Train services run from Waterloo, Clapham Junction and Wimbledon. Take the train to Chessington South Station. The park is approximately 10 minutes walk from the station.

Chessington is served by a regular bus service. Take the 465 bus from Kingston to Chessington, or the 467 bus from Epsom to Chessington.

By Plane
Chessington is about 20 miles from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports. So if you’re flying in, it’s only 30 minutes’ drive away, public transport times will vary around a 75 minute journey. If using public transport you can plan your way to Chessington with the Transport for London’s journey planner.
