Overview
Here at Chessington Zoo in the UK, you can meet over 1,000 exotic animals from foreign lands, some of which are endangered and can no longer be seen in the wild.
Chessington Zoo is a fabulous part of the total Chessington World of Adventures Resort experience. There is so much to explore – laugh at mischievous meerkats, come nose to nose with sharks and rays in the spectacular SEA LIFE centre or roar with the lions in the Trail of the Kings – be sure not to miss it!

In our Zoo you will find the following attractions…
Wanyama Village & Reserve
Who needs an overseas Safari holiday when an African Reserve is right on your Surrey doorstep? Grevy’s Zebras, the very rare Scimitar Horned Oryx and Meerkats will take centre stage at the brand new Wanyama Village & Reserve .
Lorikeet Lagoon
Lorikeet Lagoon is currently closed until the 20th March 2013.
Go truly wild on an expedition through the Lorikeet Lagoon, part of our amazing new land, Wild Asia... a beautiful way to meet these exotic and colourful birds.
Trail of the Kings
Journey through the jungle and get a close-up look into the world of the fascinating Western Lowland Gorillas, Asiatic Lions, Carpathian Lynx, Sumatran Tigers, Binturongs and Fossa.
SEA LIFE Centre
Lifting the lid on the mysteries of the underwater world, Chessington’s SEA LIFE centre is a truly breath taking experience for all deep sea explorers!
Children's Zoo
The Children's Zoo is the perfect opportunity for animal lovers to interact with a range of farmyard friends, including pygmy goats, chickens, KuneKune pigs and rabbits.
Creepy Caves
Explore a world of reptiles, snakes and creepy crawlies, including pythons, tarantulas, and other fascinating lizards, frogs and caterpillars!
Monkey & Bird Garden
Home to more than twenty different species of monkeys and birds, this garden walkthrough is not to be missed! There are interactive play 'n' learn elements and fascinating facts for the whole family!
Penguin Cove, Otters and Reindeer
Waddle down to Penguin Cove where you can see the Humboldt Penguins splashing around or stop by and say hello to the mischievous otters nearby.
Sealion Bay
Splash down to Sealion Bay for the chance to see Harley and Dante play in the water!

Chessington Zoo is home to more than 1,000 amazing animals and in this jungle hideaway you can meet and take home your own cuddly version. Or find a new furry friend and bring it to life by creating your own cuddly toy.

Animal Experiences
Giraffe feed
Early Saturday morning we were the first group to enjoy this extra experience. It was a surprise for my son's birthday after staying at the resort hotel. The staff were brilliant and played along until we got to the paddock where the giraffes were. The experience was one we all would never forget and enjoyed every minute. Thanks to everyone. Highly recommend to anyone.

TRAIL OF THE KINGS BRILLIANT
WOW to sum up trail of the kings...... I was literally glass away from lions/tigers my heart was pounding, I absolutley loved it SO AMAZING. MY ADVICE IS GO THERE, YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED :)

Wanyama Village & Reserve
Fangtastic...
I sprung this trip to the park as a suprise as my partner and her daughter had never been before. The whole experience from the trip up to leaving was so memorable for us all. So much so that I am booking again for Grace to spend her 13th birthday here. The rooms were clean and pleasant and the view over the park was first rate. The pool was great fun and the evening meal was first class. The day spent in the park was brilliant, our favourite ride being the Vampire - I even managed to lure my partner on for a go. A really great fun day and can't wait to return.

SEA LIFE Centre
Swimming
I come to Chessington quite often. The SEA LIFE centre amazes me and my mum, we love it. We watched most of the shows as we stayed at the resort for 2 nights and 3 days.
