Sealion Bay
Overview
At Sealion Bay we have 4 Californian Sealions splashing about in the water – 2 boys and 2 girls – who would love you to come over and see them.
The two males are brothers called Harley and Dante. Harley is the clown of the party, who likes to show off during the talks and splash the audience! Dante is slightly smaller than Harley but is much faster than him. Dante enjoys biting Harley’s flippers then swimming away quickly as he knows he cannot be caught.
In 2010, two new sealions arrived at Chessington called Ariel and Carla. Both these girls have settled in well to their new home and the boys have loved having two new playmates.
At Chessington World of Adventures, we have Sealion training sessions and presentations everyday at 12.00pm and 3.00pm at Sealion Bay.

Sealion Bay is so wonderful seeing those lovely sealions swim swiftly through the water catching the fish in their mouths. Oh and I can't forget the amazing tricks!!

Harley
We visit Chessington as much as we can and spend hours watching Harley the sealion and his trusty friends, at the end of the day we always ride the Safari skyway to say goodnight :) xxx

Sealion Bay
We visit Chessington World of Aventures most weekends including the Zoo Days throughout the winter months. We enjoy the whole experience, but our favourite area is Sealion Bay. We love the antics of the sealions, especially Dante chasing the two girls and establishing his territory. Harley is the laid back one. Always an enjoyable day, thank you.

My Boris
I went to Chessington with my two nephews last Sunday to celebrate my birthday and was shocked to hear that my Boris had died. I have always spent hours at the side of the pool watching him with great interest and on Sunday I spent an hour wishing I could see him. He was by far the best and stole my heart from when I was a child and used to visit him. He was gorgeous and I will miss you so very much. R.I.P Boris, my star!! x
