Our brand new educational offering for 2018 has been created to provide your students with an even more immersive learning experience!
We have some roarsome new arrivals to Chessington for 2018 - 4 endangered Tigers and our brand new Land of the Tiger!
In our new interactive workshop Tigerrific Conservation*, which can be tailored for KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5, pupils will ‘learn their stripes’ by discovering all there is to know about the endangered Tigers and the importance of conservation whilst also taking an active role in protecting their species with our schools conservation project!
Led by the Education Officer, our new style educational ‘walkshops’ will take place at different locations around the Theme Park and Zoo to provide students with an immersive education experience and real life examples relating to what they are learning at school.
Pupils will discover a variety of different African animals and habitats as they take a guided walk through Wanyama Village!
National Curriculum: Science – classification, habitats, food chains
Alongside Land of the Tiger, in 2018 we’ll also be launching our NEW Wild Learning Centre to truly cement our position as Britain’s Wildest Classroom! With 5 individual themed ‘zones’ and a whole host of interactive elements, our NEW Wild Learning Centre is sure to provide the most adventurous of learning experiences!
