Head to Chessington World of Adventures Resort on Saturday 20th June 2015 to enjoy the brand new Roar and Explore evening in aid of the Chessington Conservation Fund (CCF)!
From 6pm until dusk the Resort will re-open for a one-off evening of fun and games, with a chance to ride ZUFARI! Ride into Africa to see giraffe, rhino and antelopes, plus an opportunity to stroll around the zoo to meet the many animal residents, watch exciting animal presentations, visit stalls and take part in fun games and activities. Entry to this special event costs just £6 (under 5s free), with all proceeds going directly to CCF which aims to protect nature’s future both locally and worldwide.
Roar and Explore is a family-fun evening, with plenty of exciting activities for all ages to enjoy. The £6 entrance fee includes an evening adventure on ZUFARI! Ride into Africa, entry to the Wanyama Village and Reserve, and Chessington Zoo where guests will come face to face with giraffe, lions, zebras, gorillas and many more fun and interesting species. New for 2015 is Penguin Bay, a walk-through experience and enclosure featuring 23 Humboldt penguins waddling and swimming. Chessington’s friendly Zoo Keepers will also be on hand for an opportunity to ask questions, and adventurers can watch the popular animal presentations and feeds throughout the evening. A live auction including amazing prizes of exclusive animal meet & greets, snorkelling with sharks at SEA LIFE London, family tickets and getaways at UK attractions will also be held.
Roar and Explore will be host to XXXXX where you can join us to learn/see/discover XXXXX. There will also be special stand run by Chessington staff members that have seen CCF’s work first hand in Ecuador and Zimbabwe. With special bug hunts, building of bug hotels, face painting and balloon making for kids, PLUS a free CCF pop badge for all guests, it is set to be an evening to remember – and all for a good cause, too!
