A SAFE, WILD ADVENTURE
We have reopened and are operating in the safest way possible for you, our staff and animals in our care with the introduction of new hygiene and safety measures, which we will be updating frequently in response to evolving Government guidelines, so do keep checking back for the latest details.
You will have your temperature checked on arrival and we recommend that you bring and wear a suitable face mask/covering on your visit.
Please note that it is mandatory* to wear a securely fitted face mask on rides; Vampire, KOBRA, Scorpion Express and Tuk Tuk Turmoil.
We have a selection of 4 designs (and child sizes) of face masks that are available to purchase in advance of your visit or from the Adventure Point Gift Shop for £5 each.
*Face masks/coverings are not required for children under 6 or for people with certain health conditions and/or disabilities.
Before your adventure
Pre-book to guarantee entry
To allow for social distancing, we will be reducing the number of guests we welcome to the Resort each day – therefore to guarantee entry you must pre-book online.
check our website
Before setting off on your wild adventure, check our website and social media channels for the latest ‘wilderness safety’ information.
Be ready to make contactless payments rather than cash where possible.
bring a suitable face mask/covering
We recommend that you bring and wear a suitable face mask/covering on your visit. Please note that it is mandatory to wear a securely fitted face mask on selected rides.
do not visit if you are showing any of the symptoms of coronavirus
We politely request you do not visit if you are showing any of the symptoms of coronavirus – a high temperature; new, continuous cough; loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.
On arrival at the Resort
follow all instructions regards parking
If arriving by car, follow all instructions regards parking.
Wilderness Safety Guide signs
Pay attention to new Wilderness Safety Guide signs, which will tell you key hygiene and safety messages and instructions.
As well as our staff undergoing daily, non-contact temperature checks, we will also ask you (aside from babies and toddlers) to participate in such checks as a condition of entry to the Resort.
Please note - anyone who displays a high temperature associated with a fever (of 37.8 °C or above), along with their household, will not be permitted entry.
Keep a 2m gap
Keep a 2m gap from other Adventurers at the Resort – clear markers or signs in queues will help you maintain a safe distance.
Empty rows and empty seats
To minimise contact between Adventurers on rides, empty rows and empty seats between you and others will be left, while other relevant approaches will be taken at our other attractions.
Interactive areas like play areas and our shows will be temporarily unavailable or modified.
Will be temporarily unavailable, or the number of Adventurers will be limited in indoor attractions and other indoor areas including our restaurants, shops, Guest Help & Information.
Hygiene screens will be at many of our restaurants, food outlets and shop counters.
The way in which we conduct security searches, height checks for our rides and other guest services will change to reduce the proximity of staff to Adventurers.
Hygiene and disinfection
We politely request you uphold the highest possible hygiene measures – catching a cough or sneeze with a tissue or in your sleeve, regular and thorough hand washing or frequent use of hand sanitiser.
Hand sanitiser will be readily available across the Resort – we will ask all guests to sanitise their hands before and after enjoying our rides.
Many food options will be ‘grab and go’ - cutlery and condiments will be provided to you with your food, or on request.
Enhanced cleaning will be taking place throughout the day, while rides will be cleaned every 30 minutes.
Deep cleaning will occur of relevant areas if anyone presents themselves to us with coronavirus symptoms.
To protect both you and our staff, face masks, disposable gloves and eye protection will be worn by them for a range of close-contact, routine activities.
Our staff will participate in specific coronavirus training relating to our new hygiene and safety measures, instructing them how to stay safe, as well as how to keep you safe.
