Children’s Zoo Feed
Get ready for an adventure with a difference! Gain exclusive access behind the scenes whilst you feed our incredible animals! This is the first opportunity for young adventurers to get up close and personal with animals from around the world, including friendly capybara, striped skunks, bearded goats, fluffy chickens, and more!
This extraordinary Children’s Zoo Feed - £40 per adventurer.
- Each interactive tour is 1 hour long and for up to 4 people
- Minimum adventurer age is 7 years
- Feed capybara, skunks, meerkats, goats, pigs and chickens
- Tours may vary depending on animal availability and animals in the tour are subject to change
- You’ll be guided by two expert keepers throughout your adventure who’ll guide you through health and safety procedures, lead you to the enclosures and help you feed the animals
- You’ll receive a certificate to congratulate you on your adventure!
- Children’s Zoo Feed is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
Behind the Scenes Animal Tour
Are you brave enough to feed lions or tigers? Then get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! Go behind the scenes and brace yourself for an animal encounter like never before. Feed the lions or tigers, meet our personality filled sealions, feed our adorable penguins and brave the waters of the shark tank as you feed the sharks! End your amazing adventure with a guided tour around the beautiful Wanyama reserve.
This wild 2 hour experience - £125 per adventurer.
- Each interactive tour is 2 hours long and for up to 4 people
- Minimum adventurer age is 10 years old, and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult adventurer
- Animal availability may vary and be subject to change
- You’ll be guided through your adventure by a personal tour guide and join the specialist keepers for meeting and feeding the animals
- Your guide and keepers will guide you through health and safety procedures, and help you feed the animals
- Tours are available Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays
Zebra Safari – coming soon
A unique opportunity awaits you as you hand feed our stunning Grevy’s Zebras! Join your own personal guide aboard a private Kawasaki buggy and venture out to explore the beautiful Wanyama Reserve! Discover Scimitar Horned Oryx roaming freely alongside ostriches and zebras on your own African Adventure!
Price: £30 per adventurer.
- Each interactive tour is 30 minutes long and for up to 2 people
- Minimum adventurer age is 8 years
- You’ll be guided by two specialist keepers throughout your adventure who’ll guide you through health and safety procedures, and help you feed the animals
- You’ll receive a certificate at the end of your experience to congratulate you on your adventure!
- Zebra Safari is available on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays
- Tours may vary depending on animal availability and in adverse weather conditions

Really Wild Birthday Parties – here’s the quite big small print:
- Bookings must be made at least a month ahead.
- Parties are available at weekends and during school holidays and last for two hours – 11am to 1pm.
- Parties are suitable for kids aged five to 12.
- Parties require a minimum of 15 children.
- Animal meet 'n' greets will be with animals available on the day.
- Sorry, food brought from outside cannot be consumed in the party room, except for a birthday cake, if you’d rather bring your own.
Animal Adoption
Adopt an Animal - buy a gift with a difference.

Zoo Keeper for a Day
Wild about animals? Want to know how to be a zoo keeper? If so, welcome to the ultimate animal experience at Chessington World of Adventures Resort – Be A Zoo Keeper for A Day.
Be a Tiger and Lion Keeper For The Day (16+ years)
Take a walk along Chessington’s Trail of the Kings, where you’ll get to work alongside our Carnivores including Sumatran Tigers and Asiatic Lions. An awesome and unique experience, which includes your theme park entry.
£175 for one or £310 for two people.
Be a Bird and Monkey Zoo Keeper for a Day (16+ years)
Get up close and personal with our lemurs and monkey families and spend some time caring for our colourful collection of birds including our Military Macaws. A truly unique experience, which includes your theme park entry.
£175 for one or £310 for two people.
Choose 2 of the following: Zoo Animal Training, SEA LIFE or Reptile Keeper (16+ years)
oin our professional trainers as they work their magic with sea lions, birds and furry mammals, or go behind the scenes in the SEA LIFE centre and work with our aquarists alongside sharks, rays and tropical fish. Alternatively, and only for the bravest adventurers, venture into the Creepy Caves and learn how to look after our large variety of reptiles and amphibians.

Chessington’s Junior Zoo Keeper experience
(7 to 16 years)
Here’s a wonderful experience for younger adventurers that will give a first taste of the day-to-day work of our Zoo Keepers. You’ll get to work in the Children’s Zoo and Wanyama Village, meeting our Skunks, Goats, Ferrets, Capybaras, Meerkats and many more animals.
£145 for one or £250 for two people.
