When students are enjoying a lesson it shows. It shows in their attention levels, in the effort they put in and the results they achieve. The Education Programme at Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo offers maximum educational value through unique and stimulating learning experiences.

Some of the best lessons are outside the classroom

It’s amazing what you can achieve in just one day away from the classroom. A school trip to Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo will challenge your pupils, fill them with enthusiasm and let them experience the thrill of practical learning, first hand.

Chessington Educational Programme

Working in collaboration with practicing teachers and educational advisers, we have created a programme of events and activities for pupils of Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4 with just the right mix of education and fun to bring learning to life.

At Chessington, we’ve got it covered: we can help with risk assessment, free teacher visits prior to your trip and educational resources to help you get the most out of the day.  Importantly, your pupils can take part in various structured activities that are linked to the National Curriculum and specific programmes of study.

School talks

Our range of school talks supports our paper-based and online resources and is designed to help you get the most from your visit to the Park. Choose from a selection of topics, including Conservation, Zoology, Litter and Geography, and receive a specialist tailor-made talk on your chosen area of study.

All talks are available during term time only, excluding weekends and bank holidays. An additional £1.23 per student will be charged. All talks must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

Further details about our schools talks are available on the School talks page.
